On a hot sunny July evening, a wed mother-to-be gives birth to a natural born photographer, graphic designer, music producer, and director at Cedar Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, CA. Soon to be established as their first and only child, Marques T. Owens had plenty time to himself to tune into his creative mind. As a kid he loved to draw and paint while initiating clubs at school and with neighborhood friends and to pass time. Marques T. Owens picked up a camera at the age of 9 for a museum given enrichment class in photography and from there the love of Visual Art was locked. Marques would make home movies with his home video camera and showcased them to his peers at school. He was always an innovator.
Breaking from the normal fad, Marques wore HIS TAKE of the latest fashion to school which many laughed at, but others sided with. As he continued towards more creative enrichment classes, including the "Video Shoot" Program for kids at UCLA, he also took as many video production, computer graphics and photography classes during school as he could. "My professional education taught me the 'technical' aspects of each field, but it took my creative ingenuity to make it an art of my own". Marques maintained such courses all the way through college. From then on, with hands on application, he began to master his craft even more.
Completing internships at prestigious record companies such as Warner Bros. Records and A&M Records in the video department, Marques quickly took a liking to the industry amongst him and from then on, he knew his destiny."The creative field of the entertainment industry". With all of his acquired education and experience, Marques Owens is destined to be a MAJOR influence in the entertainment industry.
After graduating from college with a camera in one hand, a diploma in the other, and knowledge in his brain, you will find Marques running the day to day operations of as the CEO of MOTIMEDIA, LLC. MOTIMEDIA is the umbrella company for Mosaic7 Motion Pictures, Motogenic Photography, Motif Concepts (a graphic design company), and MO Girls USA (a female model promotion company). In today's Digital Entertainment market, you can now find Marques Owens a.k.a. "MO" doin' his thang!
